Related companies

I found a lot of companies which deal with my subject “home automation” and it was difficult to choose two of them in order to compare them, but here they are :

The first company named ELAN is specializing in home automation. They develop and create touch screens to centralize and control all the devices in your house. The second company called Promixis, offers computer based home automation and industrial automation software. They develop software that you can install on your computer and make IR (Infra Red) connected USB box that allows you to control all IR devices in your home. The software name is Girder. It is a Windows automation application that can control lighting systems, security systems or virtually any consumer electronics device that communicates via IR, serial and IP protocols. We have seen two companies that are in the same industry but lead it in different ways. ELAN lets you manage your entire home, but must be put in place during construction of the house while  Proximity allows you to manage the wireless IR’s devices home with just a software that can be implemented in any home.

Finally, I would like to say that in my research, I did not find a lot of French companies engaging in home automation. I think that in France, home technologies are not anchored yet. Indeed, we don’t give the same importance to our home. What do you think?
